Fulnek was mentioned in 13rd century as town with gothic castle. In 15th and 16th century was Fulnek the main town of Bohemian Brethren. After World War II toen burned up and its hictorical centre was renovate by architect Sedláček. Chateau complex is situated above the town. The Horní (Upper) chateau was baroque rebulit from gothic castle, Dolní (Lower) chateau was built in Renaissance style in second part of 16th century. Other important building in the town is former colster of Augustians from 14th century with gothic cloister and monumental baroque church from 18th century. In the interieur of church you can see beautiful pictures by J. V. Sadler.
